FAQ's

I do not wish to use electric do I still have to pay for it?
All caravan/motorhome pitches include electric hookup in the price. For a tent it is additional.


What do I need to connect to the electric hook up point?
You will need an outdoor cable. We have spares available in case you forget yours!


Can I pay when I arrive?
Yes, if you book a pitch you must pay the £25 deposit, when booking online or over the phone, if you want you can pay the whole amount when booking or pay the remainder during your stay.
During low season you can arrive without paying but you will not have been allocated a pitch prior to your arrival.


Are pets allowed?
Yes, we ask owners to keep their pets on leads at all times and clear up after their pet at al times, on site, or when walking around the village,.
 

 

Can we bring a Gazebo?
Yes

 

What is the 'No noise' policy?
No noise after 10:30 pm or before 7:30am.

Are barbeques allowed on site?
Yes you can have a BBQ although we do ask that it is free standing and raised off the ground. Bricks can be provided.

 

Is there a pub or restaurant nearby?
Yes
 
What is the policy regarding Visitors?
Visitors must report to reception, visitors are free unless they intend on staying overnight
 

 

Are there facilities for people with disabilities?
The site is flat, and the new amenity block has a dedicated disabled shower/toilet which is accessible via radar key

What do I need to bring with me to check in?
If you booked online, your confirmation that you have received via e-mail is all that is required to check in. If you lose it we will have to check our records.
 

 

What time can I arrive/depart?
Arrival and departure time is 12pm (mid day) for touring visitors , although at owners discretion and dependant on capacity,
 

 

Do I have to book online?
No, you can call 01553 840004 to book by phone
 

 

If I book online, do I have to pay the entire payment?
No, you have the option to pay just the £25 deposit
 

 

Can I choose a specific pitch?
When booking online all pitches are allocated in order of availability so if you have a specific pitch you were looking to book please call 01553840004
 

 

How can I pay for my holiday?
We accept credit cards and cheques though no cheques are accepted less than 2 weeks before arrival
 

 

When/How will I receive confirmation?
Confirmation will be sent to you via email on the day of booking.
 

 

Will I need a torch?
Unless you have eaten alot of carrots, then yes! This is because lighting is kept to the amenity buildings to help reduce light pollution.
